PleinAir Moab will enchance the appreciation of plein air painting (painting outdoors) by providing an annual festival in which artists compete for prize money in three distinct categories, each emphasizing the origin and breath of the plein air style. An abundance of artists will gather to depict the remote and natural beauty of the Moab environment!
Starting as early as Friday, October 1st, contestants can sign in at the Overlook Gallery, 83 E Center St., and have until Friday, October 8th to create works within 50 miles of downtown Moab.
Artists awards, reception, art show and sale begin at 6:00 pm Friday evening, October 8th, at Moab City Hall, 217 E Center St. The public is invited to all events.
